Wiping benches every night keeps a kitchen looking clean, but grease and grime build up in the places you don’t see.
Range hood filters
Filters trap airborne grease and should be degreased every few months. Soak metal filters in hot water with a degreaser, then rinse and dry.
Oven door seals
Crumbs and splatter collect in the rubber seal. Clean gently with warm soapy water so the seal isn’t damaged.
Beside appliances
The gaps next to the fridge and stove collect crumbs and spills. Slide appliances out carefully once or twice a year.
